Template Variables for Confluence · last updated 7 September 2026

1. Agreement

By installing or using Template Variables for Confluence (the app) you agree to these terms. The app is published by Sabitarani Pradhan, trading as Veridian NextGen (the publisher), and distributed through the Atlassian Marketplace. Atlassian's own Marketplace Terms of Use also apply.

2. What the app does

An administrator defines named values in the app's settings page. The Variable macro then displays one of those values inline on a page. Changing the value in settings changes it on every page that uses it.

3. Who can see a variable — please read

A variable's value is shown to anyone who can view a page that uses it. The app applies no access control of its own beyond Confluence's own page permissions.

Do not store passwords, API keys, personal data or anything confidential in a variable. Treat every value as though it were typed directly onto the page, because in effect it is.

4. Accuracy

A page shows the value as it stood when the page was rendered. If a variable is renamed or deleted, pages referring to it display a visible placeholder rather than failing — but they will not show the old value.

5. No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. The publisher does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or accurate.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, content, profits or business, arising from use of the app — including any loss arising from a value being visible to someone, or from a value being wrong or out of date.

Total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

7. Your responsibilities

You decide what goes into a variable and who may administer them. You are responsible for both.

8. Support

Support is provided by email at support@veridiannextgen.com. Normal requests within five working days; issues Atlassian classifies as critical within 24 hours.

9. Fees and cancellation

Billing is handled by Atlassian. Pricing is on the Marketplace listing. Cancellation and refunds follow Atlassian Marketplace policy.

10. Termination

The publisher may terminate these terms if you breach them. On termination or uninstall, stored data is deleted as described in the privacy statement.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights in your own country.
