Incoming Links for Confluence · last updated 7 September 2026

Who this is about

This policy covers the Atlassian Marketplace app Incoming Links for Confluence (the app), published by Sabitarani Pradhan, trading as Veridian NextGen.

What the app stores

To list the pages that link to a page, the app keeps a small index. For each link it finds, it stores:

Page bodies are read to find links. They are never stored.

Where it is stored

Inside Atlassian's own Forge storage, in the same region as your Confluence site. The app carries the Runs on Atlassian designation, meaning it runs wholly on Atlassian infrastructure and makes no outbound network calls.

No data is ever transmitted to the publisher or to any third party. The publisher cannot read your content.

Personal data

The app does not deliberately collect personal data. Page titles are stored, and if a title contains someone's name then that name is stored as part of the title. No email addresses, account IDs or user profiles are recorded.

Permissions, and why each one is needed

ScopeWhy
read:page:confluenceRead page contents to find links
read:space:confluenceIdentify which space a page belongs to
read:user:confluenceRequired by Atlassian for page events
read:content.metadata:confluenceRequired by Atlassian for page events
storage:appStore the link index

The app holds no write permission of any kind and cannot modify your Confluence.

Reader permissions

Links are checked against the permissions of the person reading the page, not the app's. The app does not reveal the existence or title of a page to someone who could not open it themselves.

Retention and deletion

Records are updated whenever a page is saved, and removed when the links are removed. Uninstalling the app deletes all stored data, in line with Atlassian's data retention for Forge apps.

Data requests

To ask what is stored about your site, or to have it deleted, email support@veridiannextgen.com. Requests are answered within five working days.

Changes

Material changes will be published on this page and noted on the Marketplace listing.
